Welcome to the Anime Vampires Club.

This club is dedicated to vampires, in an anime style. Anime artists are often rediculed, so this place gives anime artists a safe place to share their vampire art to others who are fans of vampires.

You needn`t post art to be a member here. We just ask that you watch us to receive updates of new art the club gets. When viewing the art, you will notice a link to the person`s original deviation. Be sure to give the original person all your comments & favs. Please don`t fav the club`s deviation.

I will also point out that because this is a vampire club, this doesn`t mean that anyone who is a part of it is a devil-worshipper necessarily. A few individuals may be, but majority of the members are not. Let`s not have any negative stereotyped problems here.

Be sure to read over the FAQ page for any questions you have about the club. If you want to join the club, please send a devnote to the club of the club owner. Leaving comments on the page asking to join won`t work.

Rules of Featured Artwork:
-You cannot request to have your own featured.
-Artwork can be featured several times.
-Devnote which image the club should feature.
-If you submit a suggestion for an image to be featured, & it gets featured, you will receive a victim point.

Basic Contest Rules:
1. The drawing style must be of anime style.
2. The image must be coloured & finished when it is submitted to the club.
3. The entry must be submitted by due date or else it does not get accepted into the club.
4. Colouring style can be of any style.
5. If there are any questions, note the club or club owner.
6. One entry per person.

Contest of April 2005
Due date: May 1
Subject: Draw an image of what your ideal vampire should look like. This can range from Dracula to a winged vampire, to anything else. Your ideal vampire should reflect elements of it`s physical appearance of vampires that you like best or are most attracted to. Be detailed as possible. Shading isn`t necessary. Winners will be decided upon details they used, overall structure & design of the vampire. In the description, include a description of the vampire, describing it`s abilities, size, name of species of vampire, if it`s a real or imagined vampire (this means, real vampires would be vampires that you can find in books, imagined are ones that you have created on your own).
Prize: 3 winners, each will receive 1-month subscription to deviantart

1. The art must be about vampires.
2. The art must be in anime style.
3. The art can be either in black & white or coloured. We prefer finished work.
4. To submit the artwork, devnote us with a direct link to the picture.
5. We will not tolerate any defamation or downgrading of the members here or their art.
6. We don't accept any pictures of any sexual nature(i.e. no porn). We want have an all-age friendly page and don't want to offend anyone.
7. Have a link to the club either in your devjournal or signature.
8. We`ll also accept anthro vampire art but if you do this please really show the vampyric side (animals naturally have fangs & things so make the vampire stuff really show on them).
9. Add us to your watch list to receive updates of new art or visit the club page often to see the new art.
10. Only 1 artwork can be submitted per week to the club.
